Product names and descriptions
For: Owner, Store admin, Fundraiser, Store editor, Parents & families
Where: At the top of sportprinters.com, click Log in. Enter your Email and Password and click Sign In. You land on My Stores. Click Manage on your store. Store Admin opens on Products.
Give products names your parents will recognize, like "Home Game Tee" instead of a catalog style name.
While creating a product
On the Title step of Create Product:
- Name: what shoppers see. The catalog name shows in grey as a suggestion ("Tab to use the suggestion"). Press Tab in the empty box to use it.
- Description: shown on the product's page. Press Tab to use the catalog description as a starting point.
Leave either one blank to use the catalog's: "Blank uses the catalog name and description."
On a product that's already live
- Go to Products › Store products and click the product.
- On the General tab, edit the Display name (up to 80 characters) and Description (up to 600 characters).
- Click Save item. You'll see "Saved — your store shows this now."
The General tab also shows the product's Category. It comes from the catalog. To group products your own way, use the Collections tab.
